Venue Hire Information
Situated on the Esplanade in the heart of Esperance the Yacht Club is not only a paradise for sailors, but also offers the ideal location for a host of functions including weddings, celebrations, meetings and seminars.
A large screen is available to connect laptops and data projectors to, as well as a whiteboard and PA system.
The Esperance Bay Yacht Club Inc. (EBYC) operates under a full Club Licence. Venue hire is freely available by contract of agreement but where the provision and consumption of alcohol is involved, the premises are only available for hire to financial members.
A non-sailing associate membership can be arranged for a $35.00 nomination fee and annual subscription of $105.00.
All alcohol served on the licensed premises, (which includes the outdoor areas surrounding the main building) must, by law, be supplied and controlled by the licensee. Sorry, NO BYO.
Hires operate on a "bareboat charter" basis. The venue is made available clean and in its default set-up and it is a specific condition of hire that it must be re-instated to that condition on completion.
All additional services such as linen hire, cleaning, setting up, re-instatement, bar and staff, tea/coffee and catering are available at a modest additional cost and a quote can be provided once requirements have been established.
Catering can be undertaken by yourselves or commercial caterers (EBYC's preferred caterer is Saltwater Catering), however where our galley facilities are used there is an additional hire charge of $112 to the hirer. This should be taken into account in your catering budget.

Our standard wine list can be supplied as a guide to normal stock items and pricing. Most other commercially available lines can be supplied, on request, if sufficient time is allowed.
As a club we endeavour to supply our members and guests at prices consistently lower than those available in hotels and restaurants.
The office is normally staffed weekdays from 0900am to 200pm and for any inquiries outside these times please call the EBYC and leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.
