Training & Courses
Esperance Bay Yacht Club is a registered training organisation under the Yachting Australia Training Programme.
This enables the club to run various courses such as the Basic Skills Sailing Course during the October school holidays for youth aged 9 and over.
A Recreational Skipper’s Ticket, Coaching, HF and VHF Radio courses can be organised if there is a demand.
The club owns a fleet of Puffin Pacer Dinghies used for adult training courses and for the Esperance High School’s participation in the High School Team Racing Competition. Interested adults can take part in relaxed and fun training sessions on a Saturday morning during the sailing season.

Junior Training - experienced and qualified coaches oversee junior sail training every Saturday morning during the sailing season.
